Music Ministries at FUMC Bensenville
The music ministries at FUMC Bensenville include many aspects of the arts, not just music. The music programs include our Adult Choir that sings a wide variety of musical styles, sharing in the Celebration of Worship most weeks. We also use our choir members as a cornerstone of leadership in our congregational singing. We have a strong belief in the use of modern music in worship. We have a 39 rank Allen organ, Yamaha U3 piano, and several keyboards that we utilize every week to offer music of varying types and styles to speak to contemporary congregations as a whole.
Even though we are the Music Ministry, we also use Drama, Puppetry, PowerPoint and Liturgical Dance in our services.
MISSION STATEMENT Our mission is to minister to the congregation of First United Methodist church of Bensenville and the surrounding community while ministering to those involved in our music ministry.
VISION STATEMENTOur vision is to praise, worship and glorify the Lord through leading corporate and individual worship using music, drama and other visual arts.
PURPOSE STATEMENTOur purpose is to use music, drama and other visual arts to bring un-believers to know Christ and to facilitate growth in the personal relationship believers have with Christ.
